Essentials of Healthcare students have been studying body regions, directional terms, and learned about careers such as medical examiner and forensic pathologist. They applied their knowledge in a pickle autopsy activity while in Ms. Amanda Boone's class. #4theT #BTTY

All Tift County schools and offices will be closed today in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Students in Mrs. Alexander’s Forensic Science class did the Bertillon System of Measurements Lab to conclude their unit on Forensic history. The Bertillon System of Criminal Identification used body measurements to distinguish between individuals. These measurements could then be used to compile a description of an individual. Students were also given a mock crime scene and used the body measurements to identify the suspect. Students became aware of the many flaws of this system and saw why this is no longer used in today’s criminal investigations. #BTTY #4theT
