To help ensure the safety of all students, car riders must be picked up through the designated car rider line at all schools. For safety reasons, students will not be allowed to walk to vehicles parked along the side of the road.
This safety measure is in place to reduce the risk of accidents and to keep students from navigating through traffic or other potentially dangerous situations.
We appreciate your support and cooperation in following these procedures. Let’s work together to keep our students safe!

📣 Reminder for New Families to Tift County Schools!
If you have a student who will be new to Tift County Schools and you have not yet registered, please make sure to complete registration no later than Wednesday, July 30th to ensure time for your child to be assigned a schedule:teacher prior to Meet the Teacher.
In order for our administrators to have time to meet with families during Meet the Teacher and welcome students back on Friday, any students who register after Wednesday will not be guaranteed to have a schedule or homeroom teacher assigned in time for Meet the Teacher on Thursday. Principals and counselors will work on Friday, the first day of school, to build your child’s schedule. So, your child will be able to start on Monday, August 4th.
If you register after Wednesday, you are welcome to attend Meet the Teacher on Thursday, July 31st so you can meet all the teachers on the grade level. You just will not have a final schedule and final teacher assignments until the end of day on Friday.
We want every child to have a smooth and successful start—please help us by sharing this message with anyone you know who may still need to register.
We can’t wait to welcome all of our new families to the Blue Devil Nation! 💙📘 #4theT
