Students from FFA, CTI, and WBL joined forces with the Tifton Tree Board to make a lasting impact in our community! With guidance from the city’s urban forester, Mr. Reese Mahoney, students tagged and planted trees across the city—and even helped protect existing ones by removing barriers too tight around their trunks. 🌱💪
It was a meaningful day of service, and we’re proud to play a part in keeping Tifton green and beautiful! 🌿

Today, Mrs. Dawson's Marketing Management class had the privilege of hearing from Jamie Schluckebier, a successful entrepreneur and owner of multiple businesses right here in Tifton, GA! Jamie shared valuable insights on what it really takes to be an entrepreneur—from starting and managing multiple ventures to the crucial role an online presence plays in today’s business world. He showed students real-world examples on how he builds and keeps his relationship with his customers. Our students were inspired by his real-world experiences and walked away with practical tips on branding, marketing, and building a business that lasts. Thank you, Mr. Jamie, for taking the time to invest in the next generation of marketing and entrepreneur leaders. #4theT #LetsGrowTogether

TCHS FCCLA Promotes Literacy Through Community Book Baskets
The TCHS FCCLA chapter is proud to support literacy in our community by donating specially curated literacy baskets to local businesses and laundromats. Each basket contains books of various genres and reading levels to appeal to young readers of all ages. QR codes are included so that children can read and listen to books online. To further engage children, the baskets also include sensory toys, phonics-based activities, and a variety of interactive items that make reading fun and accessible.
Families are encouraged to take books home to enjoy together. Partner businesses will notify FCCLA when the baskets need to be replenished, ensuring that these literacy resources remain a lasting part of our community.
Thank you to the following businesses: Ameris Bank, Tifton Family Dentistry, Georgia Sports Medicine, Lowe’s Laundromat, and Rigdon Laundry for participating.

Community partnerships make a powerful difference! Thanks to generous supporters like American Textile Co, our students have the tools, like our Ag Barn, and opportunities they need to thrive. #4theT https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1ARKaECuER/

Allied Health and Medicine classes put their interests and knowledge to use by putting on a "Student-Led" Career Fair. Students chose a healthcare career they were interested in, and then created a display showcasing job responsibilities, education, salary, benefits, challenges, and why they chose the career. Visitors from Tift Regional Medical Center's Education and Human Resources Departments walked through and spoke individually to each student. We hope this experience allowed these future healthcare workers to make a lasting impression with potential employers!
Thank you to Chrissy Dent, Kelli Erskine, Sydney Barry, Lori Folsom, Jill McIntyre, and Que Smith for your willingness to encourage and support our students!!
