Guest Reader fun! Yesterday, Kaden’s mom, Mrs. Sims, visited Mrs. Gomez’s class and shared some exciting books. The students loved every story!

LSGT Meeting Reminder
The Local School Governance Team (LSGT) will meet on Friday, September 19th at 8:15 AM.

📚✨ This week was such a treat in Mrs. Godwin’s 1st grade class and Mrs. Guzman’s Kindergarten class! Mrs. Swan stopped by as a guest reader and shared the hilarious book Do Not Open This Book by Andy Lee. The students loved every moment—and the fun doubled when her special friend, Mrs. Robinson, joined in too! 💙📖

Mrs. Godwin's 1st grade went on a "Text Feature Scavenger Hunt" today. Students worked with a partner to find different text features in their non-fiction book. Working together, learning and having fun is what 1st grade is all about.

Mid Quarter reports for the first 9 weeks went home today. To help parents better understand the information included in these reports, we have prepared three helpful documents.

The Tifton-Tift County Public Library, in partnership with Tift County Schools, is proud to provide free PINES Library Access for Youth (PLAY) library cards to all students in grades Pre-K through 12.

There is nothing families need to do to participate—students are automatically issued a PLAY library card to support their academic success.

Returning students: Accounts have been automatically updated.

New students: You will receive an email notification once your child’s PLAY card has been issued.

📢 Reminder: Annual Title I Meeting & Open House We invite all families to join us tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th, from 5:30–6:30 PM for our Annual Title I Meeting and Open House.

Mrs. Vickery's Class is loving Kindergarten! They have been writing about their favorite books and using cool new online resources in reading and math!💙

Today Mrs. Godwin's 1st grade class got to enjoy some ice cream while learning about adjectives. Students had to write adjectives to describe the ice cream by using their 5 senses. Learning grammar can be so much fun when you add in ice cream.

Learning is sweet in first grade! 🍦 This week, Mrs. Drawdy’s class explored adjectives, and today they used all five senses to describe a tasty treat. Who knew grammar could be this delicious?

GO Bailey Ice Cream Sales start tomorrow August 27th. They are $2 each and exact change is preferred.

All Tift County schools and offices will be closed Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day. Tuesday, September 2nd is a Teacher Inservice Day and Student Holiday. #4theT
