Welcome, parents! I am Melissa Dillard, the guidance counselor at G.O. Bailey Elementary School. It is the goal of the school counselor to support students, parents, and teachers in helping every child reach their full potential of learning and emotional growth.

G.O. Bailey Elementary School’s comprehensive school counseling program covers three areas of student development: academic, career, and personal/social. The school counselor provides services through a variety of methods: individual counseling; small group counseling; classroom guidance; and consultation with parents, teachers, and the community.
