Calling all 5th grade parents! On May 19th, our 5th grade students will walk the halls of Northside one last time. We invite all 5th grade parents to check in and line the halls at 10:15 to cheer your babies on as they take to the halls one last time.

IT'S GMAS TIME! Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are continuing to take the Georgia Milestones Assessment Wednesday (4/19) , Thursday (4/20), Tuesday, (4/25), Wednesday (4/26) and Thursday (4/27 -5th grade only). Students should:
1. get a good night's sleep.
2. eat a good breakfast at home or at school. If they want to eat at school, they should be at school by 7:30 am.
3. be in their classrooms by 7:45 am.
Make sure you encourage your student to do his or her best, but remind them that they are more important than any test score.


Attention Parents of Rising Pre-K Students:
Due to possible changes from the GA Dept of Early Care and Learning (GA DECAL): Bright from the Start, all Pre-K location letters will not be mailed until May 2023. We will notify parents of their student's school location as soon as we are updated by the GA DECAL: Bright from the Start. Krispy Kreme Donuts arrive at Northside tomorrow! The parents must pick up ALL the child's ordered donuts and pass them out themselves. See you tomorrow at Northside Car Rider Line from 4:00-5:00 p.m.


Out of an abundance of caution, Northside Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this morning due to a potential situation in the neighborhood around the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff and the school has resumed normal operations
