☀️LEARNING UNDER THE SUN☀️
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we head into summer break, we want to ensure that your child continues to grow and stay engaged in learning in a fun and relaxed way. To support this, we’ve created Learning Under the Sun Calendars designed to help your child review and strengthen important skills they've learned this school year.
The calendars are available by grade level and each day includes a short activity that focuses on either key Math or ELA concepts aligned with Georgia Standards. The activities are meant to be simple, quick, and fun—perfect for those busy summer days! The goal is to keep your child’s skills sharp while also enjoying a well-deserved break.
Here are a few tips for using the calendars:
Encourage your child to complete the activity each day, Monday through Friday.
Set aside a regular time for the activity—maybe after breakfast or before screen time.
Celebrate progress with small rewards or praise to keep motivation high.
Feel free to modify activities to fit your child’s interests and your family’s schedule.
The activities are not meant to be stressful or add pressure—it’s simply a way to keep learning alive over the summer. Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you enjoy a restful and fun-filled summer with your child!
If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s school.
All of the calendars can be found on our website at: https://www.tiftschools.com/page/summer-learning
