🔬☕ Our 7th grade science students had a “cell-icious” time at Cellbucks in our media center today!

Students reviewed the parts of the cell while enjoying hot chocolate. Our teachers found a creative way to combine cell biology review with a cozy treat - and the students loved it!

Thanks to our amazing 7th grade teachers for making this special learning experience possible!

📢 Congratulations to the members of the 2025–2026 Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC).

The purpose of the SSAC is to provide students with opportunities to serve as representatives of their schools and as a collective voice for the Tift County Schools student body.

Through their participation, students will:
• Share ideas and perspectives
• Provide input on various aspects of the student academic experience
• Gain a deeper understanding of how our school system operates

To help ensure the safety of the Northeast Middle School students during dismissal, all Middle School softball spectators are asked to park in the grass area located between the softball and baseball fields.

➡️ Entry is available from Murray Avenue (see map).
🚫 Please do not park in the back parking lot of the school.

In Ms. Rogers' Georgia Studies class today, students are up and working in groups to bring history to life! Through Body Biographies, they’re exploring the culture and daily life of the Mississippian Indians in a fun, hands-on way. 🏹📜 #GeorgiaStudies #8thGradeLearning

🐷✨ Show season is coming, and our NEMS FFA livestock show members are ready to shine!

From Jaydee and Stella getting ring-ready, to Cheyenne's productive afternoon with Ace, to Jacob perfecting his showmanship with Odin - our students have been putting in the hard work all summer long.

There's nothing quite like watching these young agriculturalists develop their skills, build confidence, and create lasting bonds with their animals. The dedication, early mornings, and countless hours of practice are all leading up to some amazing moments in the show ring!

We're so proud of our FFA members and can't wait to see them represent NEMS with pride this season. Best of luck to all our livestock showers! 🏆
