ABAC's Grant Rentz, Forest Manager and Ethan Fink, student intern hosted ESMS Careers students. Students were introduced to careers in forestry and wildlife. They were able to see first hand many of the wildlife species we have here in Georgia.

Lynda Fisher shared her prosthetic journey with Mrs. Story’s 7th grade healthcare class. Students were able to see different sockets, prosthetics, tools, and sleeves, as well as learn the lengthy process it takes to customize a prosthetic limb. Ms. Fisher also judged the prosthetic lower extremities that Mrs. Story’s students created earlier in the week!

Officer Damien Serrata of the Georgia State Patrol spoke to students in Dr. Wise's Careers Class on the duties of his job and the dangers of driving or riding with someone that is under the influence. Students were able to see this first hand through the use of goggles that simulated what it would be like under the influence.
