Congratulations to the ESMS FFA Nursery Landscape team. Team members competed at the Area V CDE in Pelham in February. The Nursery Landscape Career Development Event includes identification of plant materials and a written exam involving basic horticulture knowledge.

ESMS 6th graders heading to SeaWorld tomorrow should arrive at the school by 5:30 AM! Buses leave at 6:00 AM sharp, and once you’re on the bus, you must stay on the bus.

Eighth Street Middle School will conduct scoliosis screenings on Tuesday, February 25th for all 6th and 8th graders. These screenings help identify students with potential spinal curvature.
Opt-out letters were sent home with students last week. If you do not want your child to participate, please submit the 2025 Tift County Schools Scoliosis Opt-Out Letter to the school by February 21st. Only students with this form on file will be exempt.

Parents of TCHS Rising 9th Graders: Please watch the video below. It explains the Rising 9th Grade Student Registration process and the registration timeline. Please look over, sign, and return the registration documentation by tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th. On Friday, February 21, a registration team from Tift County High School will be here at ESMS to register your child for their high school courses for the 2025-2026 academic year.
