Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at G.O. Bailey Primary. It’s a monumental year as we transition into a K-5 school setting! G.O. Bailey is a highly distinguished school with a long legacy of remarkable administrators, faculty members, students, and families. So, it is with great pride that I am entering my 4th year as principal. I look forward to serving and working with all GOB students, faculty, families, and community members.
I invite you to browse through the GOB website and learn about our impressive school. G. O. Bailey is a warm and welcoming school which offers a safe, nurturing, and challenging learning environment.
G.O. Bailey’s faculty and staff are committed and highly qualified educators who have big expectations for all students. We are dedicated to meeting the individualized needs of all students and provide learning experiences which will help students achieve their greatest level of academic success. It is our goal to provide the very best learning opportunities across the curriculum.
At Bailey, we believe in Relationships, Rigor, and Results! Student behavior and attendance is a direct impact on student growth and learning outcomes. We utilize PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) as our primary strategy for setting students up for success in the classroom. Our PBIS school slogan is: We are GOB. We are respectful, responsible, safe, and ready to learn!
Home-school partnership is vital to student success. Parents, families, students, teachers, staff, and administrators are all on the same team at G.O. Bailey. Teamwork and effective communication is the key! I strongly encourage you to be involved in your child’s learning experience at G.O. Bailey. We invite you to become involved and get to know our dedicated staff, our outstanding programs, and our commitment to educational excellence. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of students. I invite you to visit our school! Please feel free to contact me with any questions and/or concerns. Remember, we are ONE Team, ALL in: Achieve, Learn, Lead!
