The week of October 24th-28th was Red Ribbon Week and G.O. Bailey students and staff pledged to be DRUG FREE in style. In the weeks leading up to Red Ribbon Week Mrs. Dillard visited each classroom and spoke with students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Each day during Red Ribbon Week we dressed in special attire to say that “We Are Drug Free”. We wore “crazy socks, we “out dressed drugs”, we “shaded out drugs”, we wore “RED” and we were “super heroes” that don’t do drugs. We had a great time while at the same time teaching a very important lesson.
