G.O. Bailey students and staff celebrated World School Milk Day 2016 on Wednesday September 28th. This year marked World School Milk Day’s 17th year and was celebrated in more than 40 countries. The last Wednesday in September is used as a tool to teach children the importance of including milk in their diet. Milk is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals that kids need to stay alert and ready to learn. At G.O. Bailey we celebrated with a visit from the Chick-Fil-A Cow, a bracelet, the Mayfield cow statue and even two dairy calves. A big thank you to our wonderful lunchroom staff for such a great day filled with fun.
